Underpinning & Preloading
The underpinning system involves at least four
number of micropiles installed around an existing
foundation. Both new and existing foundations are
integrated by new load transfer on pilecap.
Preloading is often used in underpinning projects to
prevent further settlement or differential
settlement of the existing structures.
The Bored Micropile System consists of a top
anchorage, a slender steel reinforcement bar or pipe
restrained by cement grout body formed by a
pre-drilled shaft. The system is suitable for very
dense and hard ground conditions.

3. In areas where piles are to be driven under tight
