Ms Paphutsorn Wongratanapitak (also known as Koong)
and Mr Prayoon Wongliang (also known as Tong)
foresee that Singapore has the potential to be a
centre for the Studies of Southeast Asian Music and
Dance. Because Indonesian and Malay music and dance
are already well known among Singaporean society,
Thai classical music and dance could be said to be a
further alternative to these well established music.
