SFS Frisbee Introduction Program
FIP is a uniquely designed SFS program which
introduces the game of Ultimate Frisbee to
participants with little or no knowledge of the
game. This is done by imparting the basics (&
beyond) of the game in a structured, progressive &
enjoyable manner. Programs are specially customized
according to participants’ age & skill level.
FIP is targeted at students of all ages, teachers
interested in Ultimate or looking to introduce the
game to their students and corporate working adults
desiring a team-bonding experience with a twist.
FIP For Students
FIP for students is our greatest passion here at
Singapore Frisbeesports. In addition to teaching
students basic skills of Ultimate, we aim to impart
the ‘Spirit of the Game’ (fair play, integrity &
responsibility via self-refereeing), along with
providing a touch of discipline in students lives.
Nothing gives us greater satisfaction than seeing
kids improve & thoroughly enjoy themselves while
playing a competitive game of Ultimate. We take our
commitment to our kids seriously, thus we maintain
strict instructor standards & instructor : student
ratios per session, as well as conduct mandatory
safety briefings.
Under SFS FIP for students, we have 3 distinct
sub-programs according to participants’ skill level
& experience.
SFS FIP-PE is a program for Junior and Youth who are
keen to learn the very basic of Ultimate Frisbee.
This program can be held during Physical Education
or post-examination period. Participants will learn
basic skills such as catching the disc, basic
throws, footwork, body balancing, mini games of
Ultimate Frisbee and applying the rules of Ultimate
Frisbee.
