Training Company Profile: The Singapore Flying College
(Abbreviation: SFC) is a flight school based in Singapore,
and is fully owned and operated by Singapore Airlines.
The
Singapore Flying College was established in 1988
with the objective of training Ab-initio pilots to
the highest standards. It is a Civil Aviation
Authority of Singapore (CAAS) approved Flight
Training Organisation.
Course Design
The program for the Commercial Pilot Licence with
Instrument Rating covers two phases of training.
Phase A is carried out in Seletar Airport,
Singapore, and consists of all the ground training
for the "frozen" Airline Transport...
Accreditations
The College maintains a fleet of 12 EFIS equipped
aircraft and some conventional Cessna 172s. The
Cessna 172s are deployed to the Ab-initio training.
The course culminates in the licence flight tests on
the EFIS equipped Baron G58.
