Once lost in the world of bankruptcy, Mr Lim
persevered towards the bright future that lay ahead
of him. “It was a struggle. An extremely tough
period but I refused to let it bog me down. Instead,
I reassured myself that I will nonetheless forge a
career for myself in a trade that brings market
demand with effective costs,” the forty-six year old
MD said.
As if that were not enough, Mr Lim had no support in
this entrepreneurial business. All he had was his
commending spirit that ceaselessly motivated him. In
addition, his decade-old of experience in the
construction line helped him in his foresight and
hindsight in this construction & landscape business.
Gradually, from the year 2006, Chuan Sheng
Construction & Landscape Pte Ltd progressed from a
non-existent office, a lorry crane and a one-man
show with only 4 workers to the year 2011 that
welcomed an expansion in 500 sq-ft of office space,
a total of 22 equipment (lorries, excavators, lorry
cranes) and an astounding staff of 60.
Asked what his future plans were, Mr Lim informed,
“Hopefully, I’ll be able to own a factory and more
office space. And be more established in the
market.” With such optimism, it is no wonder that
the true blue entrepreneur challenges his limits and
embraces the fruits of his labour ahead.
