company, was first established in 1996.
Our
first centre is located at Choa Chu Kang Central. We
provide student care services to the residents
there. In 1997, we established another centre in
Jurong East to provide daily playgroup classes. In
1998, with the increase in student enrolment for
preschoolers, we started our search for a larger
premise which will enable us to provide a
full-fledged preschool programme which promises to
be more comprehensive and all-rounded.
This programme encompasses academics, general
knowledge, character and esteem building, moral
education, discipline and independence for our
students. Most importantly, we strive to develop a
'confident and thinking child'. Consequently, we
started our newest school, Columbia Early Learning
Centre at TT International Tradepark at Toh Guan
Road in 1999.
Columbia Early Learning Centre provides full day
Accelerated Learning Programme. Our students become
emergent readers and are also capable of writing and
spelling by four years of age.
Over the course of three years, we realised the
demand from parents for continuity from preschool to
primary school. Many of our preschool students
actually questioned their parents as to why they
could not continue primary school in Columbia. Thus,
our next mission was to set up a student care centre
close to our preschool.
In 2002, our third centre at Jurong West Ave 1, was
established. In addition to student care services,
daily pre-school enrichment programmes and weekend
enrichment programmes for pre-schoolers and primary
school children such as phonics, reading programme
and creative writing. The centre has ten classrooms
and an indoor playground.

Daily Playgroup Programme - Accelerated Learning
This daily 2 hourly programme consists of two
modules, the Playgroup English Programme and the
Playgroup Chinese Programme. The main aim of the
programme is to give the child a head start in her
learning, thought process and social skills.
Daily Nursery Programme - Accelerated Learning
This daily 3 hourly programme consists of two
modules, the Junior English Enrichment and the
Junior Chinese Enrichment programme. It is a concise
version of our Neo-Accelerated Learning Programme,
incorporating the academic, social, creative and
critical thinking portions of the programme.
Daily Kindergarten Programme - Accelerated Learning
This daily 3 hourly programme consists of two
modules, the Junior English Enrichment and the
Junior Chinese Enrichment programme. It is a concise
version of our Neo-Accelerated Learning Programme,
incorporating the academic, social, creative and
critical thinking portions of the programme. The
programme also prepares the child to excel in
Singapore’s Primary school system.
