community has contributed to the dance scene with a growth
of 5% every year, which makes up to 10,000 individuals over
the past 2 years which includes short and long term

We do
hope to see growth in Belly dancing in the next 2
years in Singapore, with at least a 5% growth per
year.
Educating our audience, as well as our students that
belly dancing can be practiced anywhere and
everywhere and its meant not only for women, but
also the men. With this ancient art form, it not
only serves to practice individually, but it does
helps with one’s health, coordination, social life,
and exposure to the dance scene. It also creates a
space where people meet and form a bond of a new
friendship as well as exchanging of experiences.
Some say, belly dancing is strictly to celebrate
womanhood. Without a doubt, we do agree at first
glance, that belly dancing is only for the feminine,
that is utterly not true. Belly dancing is an
ancient art form ever since, its Romanization era.
Since then, it has been evolved to different
culture, and style of practice, with the evolution
of today’s world. Dance is widely used in every
communications as an expression with the art.
In Singapore, we serve to ensure that men and women
who have shown interest or curiosity in belly
dancing, are welcome, to give it a shot and we do
hope that by supporting local artistes, we belly
dancers are able to be in an environment where we
are comfortable and passionate with the art we are
investing on.

supporting our local Belly dancers for many years,
