to the library at the Esplanade, the Singapore Art Cafe is
the labour of love of a former civil servant who decided to
pursue his passion rather than push paper.
Jonathan
took over the premises two years ago and has
steadily expanded his menu to include sandwiches and
udon so you can linger much longer on his comfy
seats and sofas.
If you are musically inclined, Jonathan also invites
you to his jam sessions which is held at the cafe
monthly. Or if you fancy some poetry slam - it is in
the works.
You will find your lattes, herbal teas and cakes in
this cafe, so if a book is your only company - it
will still be bliss.
A nice place to round up the evening if you finished
your romantic stroll by the bay.
